Brewery plant
Phase 1 (European ‘best-in-class‘ level in quality, service and efficiency)
- Increase in 60% the beer plant capacity to consolidate all beer and sidra volume in one plant in Portugal
- Modernize the plant, throughout the best technical solutions in the market, searching always for the highest automation level, complying with all health & safety requirements, leveraging the quality of products and archiving the best kpi’s of the industry in terms of efficiency, losses and utilities consumptions.
Team (68 people involved – 38 full time, 38 companies contracted and Steering Committee with 9 members from Directions and Board)
Phase 2 (Increase the plant capacity to 6 Mhl)
- Increase in 20% the beer plant capacity
- Install a new NRGB line (60.000 bph @ 200 ml / 250 ml / 330 ml) and increase 30% the existing keg line (from 600 kegs7hour to 720 kegs/hour @ 30L kegs)
- Install new bright beer tanks
- Develop a deep study to define a future solution to 6 Mhl capacity and the what could be the maximum expansion capacity and how to grow
Sparkling water plant
Phase 1
- Geophysics study of the region to identify potential new sources of water and install 3 new water’s boreholes
- Increased in 25% the plant capacity in 12 months
- Modify the image of flavor water sku’s, installing a machine to apply sleeves and modify the line layout to work with both options, label and sleeve
- Retrofit a complete dry area with available equipment from stopped plants to split PET and glass line increasing filling capacity and OEE
Team (12 people, 9 companies contacted and Steering Committee with 5 members from Directions and Board)
Phase 2
- Build up 3 new water’s boreholes
- Increase in 45% the plant capacity in 3 years
- New combined line 60.000 bph
- Increase capacity and modernize Utilities area
- Full automated system in the whole process area, from the water reception tanks, through the water treatment and final water storage tanks for filling área
- Increase logistic capacity and improve finish goods flow, packaging material access into the lines and trucks loading area
- New laboratory
- New social area and amenities
Dairy plant
Consolidate the entire cheese / whey production volume in one plant
- Cheese plant:
- 20.000 m² of construction
- 3.000 kg/h production
- Cold storage: 6.500 pallets positions / 11 loading bays
- Whey plant
- 3.500 kg/h production
- 2.000 pallets positions / 2 loading bays
- New plant with the best technical solutions concerning the highest automation level, health & safety requirements compliance and quality of products guarantee
